$6 million in road safety funding flows across Canberra
New road safety upgrades and improvements will be delivered in Canberra thanks to funding from the Australian and Australian Capital Territory Governments.
ACT Minister for Transport and City Services Chris Steel said the ACT Government would join with the Commonwealth to invest in improved safety on the Territory’s road network, supporting the local economy and creating jobs.
“With this funding, the ACT Government will invest in road safety projects to benefit all road users,” Minister Steel said.
“The CCTV cameras will provide more real time coverage across our road network. They will be installed at key locations, including busy intersections, across the ACT.”
