PEOPLE are being urged to stay safe and act responsibly in the final weekend before Christmas.
Cumbria’s police and crime commissioner, Peter McCall, is urging the public to be respectful of those around you during the lead up to Christmas.
He said: “The past few years, I have been out on patrol with the police and have seen for myself that most people behave responsibly and only a minority end up on the wrong side of the law.
“Even though the UK-wide lockdown has ended, Covid-19 is still very real and present in our community".
