The former Simmon’s Jewelers at 208 Center Ave. is now home to Lume Cannabis.
A new purple metal façade accented with Lume’s golden firefly logo now adorns the rehabilitated building, which had served as Simmons Jewelers for 67 years before it closed its doors in 2013.
“For a long time this building needed a ton of work and Lume was willing to put in the work and keep a historic building where it needs to be,” said Andrew Jackson, a co-manager of the Bay City location.
