Ahmed Mohamed Gaddaf Addam Kazem . والده محمد قذاف الدم أحد الضباط المؤسسين لجيش التحرير ـ جده قذاف الدم " ولي صالح " ضريحه في جبل غريان غرب ليبيا وتعود أصوله إلي الإمام موسي الكاظم الذي يلقب به كذلك ( أحمد الكاظم ) ولد في مصر عام 1952 من أم مصرية ابنه أحد مشايخ قبيلة أولاد علي أكبر القبائل العربية علي الإطلاق تعدادها 5 مليون تمتد من محافظة البحيرة إلي مدينة طبرق داخل الأراضي الليبية. نشأته وحياته. التحق بالفرع المدني لثورة الفاتح عندما كان طالباً أواخر الستينات ثم كان ضمن أول دفعة ضباط تخرجت بعد الثورة من الكلية الحربية في مصر ، تحصل علي عدة دورات ودرس في تركيا وباكستان ويوغسلافيا وبريطانيا في تخصصات مختلفة في العلوم العسكرية والسياسية وعلوم الطيران ، وصل إلي رتبة عقيد في القوات المسلحة ، كان ضمن القوات الليبية في حرب 1973 كما كان أحد المتطوعين عند الاجتياح الصهيوني للبنان في مطلع الثمانينيات كما شارك في معارك حرب تحرير إفريقيا مما أكسبه احترام خاص داخل القوات المسلحة .. ثم انتقل إلي العمل السياسي وكان سفيراً في أكثر من بلد أهمها السعودية ومصر وعمل مبعوثاً خاصاً لكافة دول العالم وشارك في معظم القمم العربية والإفريقية والمؤتمرات الدولية ، ساهم في حل مشاكل وكلف بمهام وساطة في أكثر من بلد وخاصة في إفريقيا ، له الفضل في عودة العلاقات مع مصر والسعودية والمغرب وكذلك في حلحلة كثير من الملفات العالقة مع الدول الأوربية وكان يلقب برجل المهمات الصعبة .. أعماله. له علاقات واسعة مع كثير من رؤساء دول العالم والقيادات السياسية والنقابية والإعلامية والثقافية وتحصل علي العديد من الأوسمة والشهادات كذلك له علاقات وثيقة مع زعماء المعارضة الليبية ويحظي باحترام كبير ومكانة عند رجال القبائل في ليبيا والوطن العربي ، عرف عنه تميزه بأنه صاحب رأي مما عرضه للكثير من المشاكل والإشاعات والإقصاء والإبعاد في فترات مختلفة .. هواياته. هوايته الخيل والشعر ويمارس الكتابة باسم " الكاظم " في كثير من الصحف الأوربية والأجنبية. موقفه بعد 17 فبراير. كان أول مسئول ليبي يغادر محتجاً علي معالجة الأزمة وقد أعلن ذلك وبعد تدخل حلف الأطلسي إتخذ موقفاً من الطرفين ووجه نداء طالب فيه بالاحتكام للعقل والحوار وحرمة دماء الليبيين ووحدة ليبيا . أخيراً .. وجه نداء مصالحة بين أطراف النزاع دعا فيه لعودة النازحين وخروج المعتقلين والحوار وقيام محاكمات عادلة لكل من أجرم وفتح تحقيق في الأحداث التي توالت بعد ثورة 17 فبراير وأكد علي حق كافة الليبيين في المشاركة من أجل استقرار ليبيا ووحدتها ..
