Detailed description is Das Edelgemüse Spargel kommt bei uns frisch zubereitet & in verschiedenen Variationen auf den Tisch.
Ab Juli bieten wir leckere Wild- und Pilzgerichte an.
Seit etwa 1650 werden in der "Alten Brauerei" in Beelitz Gäste bewirtet, wird Bier gebraut und Landwirtschaft betrieben.

Die eigene Bierherstellung musste 1925 vom Wirt und letzten Beelitzer Braumeister Emil Baatz, meinem Urgroßvater, aus Altersgründen eingestellt werden.

In den 30er Jahren wurde hier vom damaligen Wirt August Mahlow, meinem Großvater, die Beelitzer Spargelabsatzgenossenschaft mitbegründet.
Diese hat wesentlich zur Entwicklung und dem Anbau des Edelgemüses in und um Beelitz beigetragen und den Namen "Beelitzer Spargel" weit über die Grenzen hinaus bekannt gemacht.

Im Jahr 1953 wurde von den Behörden der DDR der Betrieb der Gast- und Landwirtschaft zwangsweise eingestellt.
Erst 1991 konnte die Familientradition fortgeführt werden.
