We are a ministry of Soma Church located in Holt Alabama.
We are here to support, encourage, and provide a safe way to home school for all those who come to our door! Zoe Home School Education for Life.

The Greek work Zoe means much more than simply life, it translates better as; the quality of life that God himself lives, and has available to us, through His son; Christ Jesus! It is our desire, at Zoe home school, that our children learn early about this abundance of life that is available to them.

Welcome to Zoe Home School.
We are home school umbrella organization based in the Holt community of Tuscaloosa County and we do accept families outside of our home congregation at Soma of Christ Church..

We exist to give support to families wishing to educate their children at home( Deuteronomy 6:6-9.) We provide administrative assistance and a church sponsored covering for parents to legally and legitimately home school their children.
In order for our families to receive educational and social support for their children, we offer cooperative education classes on Fridays throughout the school year (located at Soma Church 212 44th Ct NE Tuscaloosa, Alabama 35404).

We believe in the authority and inerrancy of the Bible (2 Tim 3:16-17), and that the only path to God is through His son, Jesus (John 14:6.) We believe that we must involve the Lord Jesus Christ in the teaching of our children(Isaiah 54:13.) Our goal is to bring up our children with admonishment in a loving manner to glorify God (Ephesians 6:4) We also believe that it is the parent’s God ordained responsibility to train and ensure the education of their children no matter what avenue of education they choose ( Proverbs 22:6.).

We have had through our many years of existence offered field trips, middle and high school formals, field days, and training classes to help get new families started in their home school experience.
All opportunites that we have are dependent on the participation and encouragement needed by our families..
