Zion Lutheran Preschool began in September 1979 with eight children.
Marilyn Hoffstetter was the first teacher with Alice Scheini as teacher aide.
Tuition was $30 per month.
Class met on Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday mornings from 9:00am to 11:30am.
Enrollment for the year totaled 15 students..

In the fall of 1986, a second session was added for 3-4 year olds that met on Tuesday and Thursday mornings from 9:00am to 11:30am.
The addition of a third class (4-5 year olds) was in the fall of 1988 with an afternoon session from 12:30pm to 3:00pm.
