The small number of Zetas in the early Sixties lived in their houses by the side of the road while creating a lasting friendship to man.
These Zetas became the charter members of Zeta Psi Zeta Chapter in 1967.
They were Bertha Blackburn, Glorist Jackson, Lois Edwards, Myrtis Harris, Willie Martin, Annie Ingram, Delores Nolen, and Cloitel Fluker.
Bertha Blackburn served as the first chapter basileus (1967-1971) and founder of the Debutante Society.
