Detailed description is 1961 İstanbul doğumlu, Yön Radyo Yönetim Kurulu Başkanı.1961 yılında İstanbul Okmeydanı’nda doğdu. İlk, orta ve lise eğitimini İstanbul’da tamamladı.. İstanbul Üniversitesi Edebiyat Fakültesi Coğrafya Bölümü’nden mezun oldu. Yüksek Lisansını ise yine İstanbul Üniversitesi Sosyal Bilimler Enstitüsü Coğrafya Bölümünde yaptı.. 12 Eylül sonrasında, Sosyal Demokrat Halkçı Parti (SHP) üyeliği (1987) ile başlayan siyasi mücadeleye iki dönem yürüttüğü Beyoğlu İlçe Başkanlığı (1991-1994) ile devam etti. İstanbul Büyükşehir Belediyesi CHP Grup Başkan Vekilliği(1999-2004) ve son olarak İstanbul CHP İl Başkan Yardımcılığı (2012 – 2014) görevlerinde bulundu. . Yön Yayınları’nın (1985) kuruluşuna katılarak başladığı çalışma yaşamına, daha sonra kuruluşunu yaptığı eğitim kurumunda yönetici olarak devam etti. . 1994 yılında Yön Radyo’nun kuruluşunu gerçekleştirdi. Haber programları hazırladı ve sundu. Medya alanında uluslararası ilişkiler, medyanın toplum üzerinde etkileri,medya ve siyaset,yeni medya ve medya örgütlülüğü alanlarında çalışmalar yaptı,2013 yılında yonhaber.com haber sitesini kurdu. . 2001 yılında alanında Türkiye’nin tek meslek birliği olan Radyo Televizyon Yayıncıları Meslek Birliği’nin (RATEM) kurucuları arasında yer aldı.2010-2016 yılları arasında RATEM Yönetim Kurulu üyeliği yaptı..
