Just a few steps from the front door, guests can enjoy a network of beautiful, private hiking trails that follows the creek to a sandy beach & picnic area, with waterfalls and shallow pools to enjoy on a hot summer day.. . The 3,500 sf yuba river retreat – offers privacy and outdoor beauty for guests seeking time in nature, while just 10 minutes from historic Nevada City’s theater, local shops, and gourmet restaurants.. . Access to the Yuba River at the South Yuba River state park at Purdon Crossing is only a few minutes drive by car from the retreat. With 650 acres of sought-after state park hiking trails, mountain biking, kayaking and refreshing river swimming in summer, it is the perfect place to relax in the outdoors. . .
