Türkiye Yeşilay Cemiyeti, 5 Mart 1920 tarihinde merkezi İstanbul’da olmak üzere “Hilâl-i Ahdar” adıyla kurulmuş bir sivil toplum kuruluşudur. Bağımlılıklarla mücadelede Türkiye’yi örnek ve lider bir ülke yapmak vizyonuyla çalışan Yeşilay, çalışmalarında insan onurunu ve saygınlığını temel alan, toplumu ve gençliği ayrım gözetmeden zararlı alışkanlıklardan korumak için çalışan, milli ve ahlaki değerleri gözeterek ve bilimsel metotlar kullanarak tütün, alkol, uyuşturucu madde, kumar ve teknoloji bağımlılığıyla mücadele eden; önleyici ve rehabilite edici çalışmalar yapan bir halk sağlığı kuruluşudur..
