Detailed description is Through fundraising, we seek to provide a Christmas Wreath for the gravesite of every Veteran interred at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery North in Williamstown.
We are Wreaths for Kentucky Veterans Cemetery North (KVCN).
December 10th, 2016 will mark the third consecutive year that our organization comprised of concerned citizens and dedicated supporters of our Military Armed Forces will seek to provide a Christmas Wreath for the gravesite of every Veteran interred at KVCN.
Our mission is to also commemorate and remember all of our Veterans and educate future generations on the selfless sacrifices of our Veterans and how they have helped to preserve our freedoms..

When the Veterans’ cemetery in Williamstown first opened, we participated with a national organization for laying wreaths; however, three years ago, due to the early cutoff date for fundraising, we did not have enough funds to provide a wreath for each Veteran.
At that time, a core group of individuals reached out to the communities that the cemetery serves and people overwhelmingly responded and provided the funds needed to decorate each Veteran’s grave.
It was successful because it was a local effort and it was at that point that this same core group decided to keep it local and Wreaths for Kentucky Veterans Cemetery North (KVCN) was formed..

We will be continuing our partnership with Miles Christmas Tree Farm in Williamstown, Kentucky.
Mr.
Miles will still offer the same type of wreath as provided in previous years for $10.00 per wreath.
With a projected 950 gravesites to cover this year, in order to successfully meet our goal, we need help..

We are a registered nonprofit corporation with the Commonwealth of Kentucky and are in the process of filing for our 501©3 tax exempt status.
