Hello my name is Stephanie Mix.
I'm a proud wife and mother of 3 children.
My husband and I decided to move here because we liked the small town feel and felt Hemet/San Jacinto was the perfect place to raise our children.
We have been in Hemet/San Jacinto Valley for 29 years.
I decided to start up this chapter of Women Armed and Ready because of the lack of awareness I had.
29 years ago things were a lot different than they are now! Unfortunately I was a victim multiple times.
And feeling vulnerable not knowing weather you are going to get brutally hurt or die in those few seconds is something I never want to feel again.
And I vowed to change and be prepared.
I also didn't want anyone to have to go threw something like that and I made a commitment to make sure that all women in this valley have a chance to protect themselves so they don't have to feel that vulnerability! As we all know .
According to the” Crime Report” Violent crimes/robberies/ heroin addict cases have increased radically in the past few years.
Our area borders are affected by this traffic.
