Detailed description is 2 year technology program . WITC- Rice Lake WITC has a Broadband/Telecommunications 2-year program that covers multiple, multiple aspects of the Telecommunications Industry. Everything from Fiber Optics, to Networking, to Cellular Technology is covered in year 1. In year 2, students dig a little deeper, including the wiring of a house, building of computers, and OTDR's. Students will gain vast knowledge in using Fiber Splicers such as the Sumotomo Fast Cat 39 and Signal Meters such as the CLI-1450, 860 DSP, and the CM-2000. The 2-year program is relatively cheap, costing roughing $10,000 for the full 2 years. After completeing the 2-year course, students will be qualified to find careers as: Satelite Installers, Voice and Date Technician, and Optical Network Operators, among other things.
