Ages 3+ Family Classes, Self Defence Winchester School Of Martial Arts focuses mainly on the teaching of Japanese Ju Jitsu. There is also the opportunity for kids to learn BJJ. Most of the classes are aimed got children from ages 3-16. I do also offer two very popular family classes and the adults get a chance to have their very own lesson once a week.. . Every student is encouraged to reach their own potential rather than directly compete against other students. Students learn more than a martial art - they learn skills that will enable them to be a more positive & successful individual in life. . . With a unique home & school report card system I am keen to encourage the positive ethos I promote in class at home & school. In order to grade, students must have positive comments from both home & school. Martial Arts are a lot of fun and channel aggression.. Your child will have a great time meeting new friends while learning life changing martial arts. Values such as: non-violence, respect, honesty, integrity, good sportsmanship, trying hard at school, and positive behaviour are the foundations of martial arts and values that our students are encouraged to embrace and promote.. . Judith Emery is a 2nd Dan in Ju Jitsu (Japanese) and a 1st Dan in ITF Taekwon-Do. And a Blue Belt in BJJ. Judith is also a qualified basic BOXFit coach. . . .
