WRRC was set up by the trustees of Compassion Unlimited Plus Action (CUPA) in response to keenly felt need to provide relief to wild animals, birds and reptiles including medical facilities, housing and handling cases of cruelties inflicted on them. These animals are often injured, abused or are confiscated from illegal trade. Concerned members of the public have very few options for housing or treatment of such species.
