I have always had a love for trees and a desire to climb to the top of them.
Growing up I never knew my love for climbing would lead me to a career in professional tree trimming.
My first professional experience was with American Arborist back in 2009.
I was taught on the job by (in my opinion) one of the best climbers/tree workers in the Lancaster area.
I only ended up working for about 9 months with American Arborist before I went back to guiding full time at Hocking Hills Canopy Tours, which led me to doing a lot of their tree work for them.
I then was asked to assist Geronimo Construction with the construction of The Super Zip in 2010, which led them (Geronimo Construction) to hire me as a lead builder.
I worked with them for a few years on a few different builds before I met the love of my life.
Once I got married, I decided that I didn't want to be away from my family, so I started looking for work around the area.
I have been the Site Manager at Geneva Hills for the past 2 years and have loved it.
Due to some financial struggles with the camp, I was laid off in June 2016 and really felt the door open for me to start up Wild Land Tree Care LLC.
It has been 7 years coming.
I feel that God has paved this path for my life.
He has given me a variety of experiences to build a foundation for a successful business, and help those in need.
