Detailed description is Friday hours 10:00 till 1:00 The Whispering Pines Thrift Shop became a charitable non-profit organization in the 1980's serving Moore County Charities.. The volunteers number over 70 ladies and gentlemen. Weekly workers come in on Monday and Tuesday to help unpack, sort, and price donations. The store is open to the public Wednesday- Saturday for sales. . Beyond the financial contributions, we also donate clothing and household items to families in need. To date we have given away $800,000 to local charities!. Our successes for the past 29 years are the result of the many people who have contributed to this cause. . Thanks to everyone for volunteering and for shopping with us!
