Evening music and fires! Join us for the 7th annual Whippoorwill Festival - Skills for Earth Friendly Living.
The goal of the Whippoorwill Festival is to promote sustainable living in Appalachia by sharing earth-friendly living skills with one another in a joyful, healthy, family-friendly atmosphere.
Join us as we celebrate Appalachian Heritage and traditions while working to build more resilient communities, in the face of a troubled environment, social injustices, and uncertain energy future..

There will be workshops and activities for children as well as adults, and evening entertainment..

This year's Whippoorwill Festival is July 14--16th, and is going to be held in the gorgeous Lago Linda Hideaway, near the Red River Gorge, Beattyville, Kentucky.
Lago Linda has a bit more room and more modern amenities including flush toilets and hot showers, plenty of parking, gravel roads, a lake, and improved campsites with water and electric hookups..
