Detailed description is Dog Training - Clicker Training Classes or Private Training Available We provide Clicker Training for you and your dog. During your training sessions, we will help you to train your dog to: sit, lie down, stay, come when called and walk loose leash. However after you have finished your training sessions, you will have the basic knowledge and experience needed to teach your dog any “tricks” you would like, i.e. fetch, roll over, bow, ring a bell to go outside, etc.. . The first of the six sessions is strictly "classroom" - no dog. HOWEVER, you may board your dog at the kennel during the classroom session if you are not comfortable leaving your dog/puppy at home alone during the classroom portion of the training. During the classroom sessions, we provide a LOT of great information about dogs, i.e. why does your dog act the way s/he does (good and "bad"), how to effectively communicate with your dog, as well as set the foundation for Clicker Training with your dog. The classroom sessions last about 2 1/2 hours for “Basic” Clicker Training and 3 hours for the “Puppy” clicker training. Puppy clicker training also covers your puppies’ stages of development and how to properly handle each stage so you end up with a happy, healthy, well-adjusted dog. After you have completed the classroom session, you may bring your dog to train on any of the Tuesday, Thursday or Saturday training sessions that work for you. . . Clicker training sessions with your dog, at home, only take about 10 minutes. We're extremely confident you will be pleasantly surprised at how much your dog will learn in those 10 minutes sessions. However, your clicker training sessions with us last about an hour due to the fact that I’ll be providing you with additional information to help you with your training during each session. . . The cost for training is $120 per dog (total – not per session) with a money back guarantee if you are not satisfied with the training you received. . . Helpful hints from your friendly, neighborhood Dog Trainers:. 1. Since the cost of training is "per dog", not per person, we highly encourage you to bring as many household members to the classroom and training sessions as are interested in the training, including children. Generally speaking, children who are 10 years old, or older, are able to understand and effectively use the clicker; in fact, sometimes they are better at it than their parents ;o). 2. No matter how many dogs are in your household, what works for one dog works for all of them. So, although we're happy to help you train as many of your dogs at a time as you would like, you don't have to spend additional money bringing more than one dog per household to your training sessions with us.
