To be authorized by the International Baccalaureate Organization, Wedgewood Park staff is required to be intensively trained in IB curriculum writing, assessment and methodology. A complex application process following a successful two-day authorization visit by International Baccalaureate representatives resulted in Wedgewood Park receiving this honor along with high future expectations.. . All Wedgewood Park staff are passionate about all every student receiving a high quality middle school education which is why the IB program is delivered with fidelity. 8 subject areas are required in every IB-middle years programme and Wedgewood Park students have a minimum of 50 hours per school year in Math, Language A (English/Spanish), Language B (French), Humanities, Science, Performing Arts, Visual Arts, Technology, and Physical Education. Wedgewood Park has all of these offerings! We do not cut student educational programs due to financial constraints or budget shortfalls!. .
