All palm oil free using natural and organic products where possible.
Originally I started making candles because I loved having them burning around my house.
Unfortunately in my area I could only purchase cheap nasty candles that didn't last very long but cost me a lot..

After many months of research I discovered that most candles are made using palm oil and with the palm oil trade comes a lot of environmental devastation.
Namely the cutting down of rainforests which is the natural habitat of many endangered animals.
On top of losing their home many animals such as the orangutan, white rhino and elephants are being brutally killed and sometime tortured as they “interfere” with the palm oil crops.
As an animal lover this breaks my heart..

After learning this I could no longer support any company that uses palm oil.
Unfortunately I also discovered palm oil is in chocolate, soaps, shampoos, dish detergents, chips you name it..

So I started with small changes.
I started making my own candles and giving them as gifts to friends and family.

I can’t the save world BUT I can try to personally not contribute to its destruction and help inform people as I go..
