Wagga Wagga High School was established as the first government high school in Wagga Wagga in 1912 and moved to its present site as ‘the high school on the hill’ in 1917.
We are a large comprehensive, co-educational high school and draw students from five main feeder primary schools in Central Wagga, North Wagga and Forest Hill, as well as the surrounding countryside.
The current school population is approximately 1050 which includes 35 students in our Special Education Support Unit, 50 indigenous students and 27 NESB students.
