Detailed description is Dedicated to an affirmation of the inherent worth, dignity and educability of African American people and an eradication of problems which stand as obstructions to quality education for all students and particularly African American students WABSE has an on-going GoFundMe Scholarship account.Through this account our goal is to give everyone an opportunity to support a deserving college bound high school senior.
WABSE is a vehicle to your desire to help an African-American student who otherwise may not have an opportunity to pursue a college education.
Each year WABSE receives dozens of scholarship applications from deserving college bound high school seniors who ALL deserve an opportunity to receive a college degree.
The WABSE scholarship committee would like to award EACH of these applicants a minimum $1,000 scholarship however our current budget only allows ONE so each year we regretfully turn away the applications of all but one deserving student.
