Official page of Vladimir Darida..Velmi talentovaný záložník a je i plzeňským odchovancem. 2. 12. 2011 se dočkal prvního gólu v České Gambrinus lize, soupeřem byla pražská Bohemians 1905. Na podzim v roce 2011 si zahrál s FC Viktorií Plzeň Ligu mistrů, kde si zahrál proti FC Barceloně, AC Milan a BATE Borisov. Po odchodu Petra Jiráčka, který v zimní přestávce 2012 přestoupil do německého Wolfsburgu, se stal Vláďa nedílnou součástí základní sestavy Viktorie. Na jaře 2012 hrála Viktorka Evropskou ligu, kam po třetím místě v LM postoupila a narazila na Schalke 04, kde Vláďa odehrál oba zápasy v základní sestavě a dokonce v domácím zápase vstřelil gól! Byl to také vlastně první vstřelený gól v rekonstruovaném Plzeňském stadioně. Přes Schalke 04 se sice postoupit nepodařilo, i když postup byl velmi blízko. Viktorka se tak mohla soustředit pouze na domácí ligu, kde bojovala o titul mistra České republiky. Rozhodovalo se do posledního kola, kdy Viktorka zajížděla na stadion Slovanu Liberce, kde výhra Viktorky by znamenala obhajobu titulu. To se ovšem nepodařilo a po remíze 0:0 se stal Českým mistrem Slovan Liberec a Viktorka obsadila třetí místo znamenající kvalifikaci v Evropské lize. Výborné výkony katapultovaly Vláďu do reprezentace a byl tak povolán na EURO 2012, kde se Česká reprezentace utkala s Ruskem, Polskem, Řeckem a Portugalskem. Postupem času trenér Česka, Michal Bílek, který již u týmu není, zapracoval Vláďu do základní sestavy, kde hrál po boku třeba Tomáše Rosického či Jaroslava Plašila. Po EURU čekala Vláďu kvalifikace do základní skupiny Evropské ligy, což se také podařilo, když Viktorka porazila Metalurgi Rustavi, Ruch Chorzóv a KSC Lokeren. Ve skupině Vláďa s Viktorkou narazil na Atletico de Madrid, Académica de Coimbra a Hapoel Tel-Aviv. Viktorka skupinu zvládla výborně a skupinu vyhrála. Dalším soupeřem v Evropské lize byla italská Neapol, kterou Viktorka s Vláďou v základní sestavě vyřadila. Plzeňskou jízdu zastavilo až turecké Fenerbahce, kde v odvetě nepomohl ani vstřelený gól Vládi. V český Gambrinus lize bojovala Viktorka o titul s pražskou Spartou až do posledního kola, ale výhra Viktorky v posledním kole v Hradci Králové, kde Vláďa dával gól, znamenala, že Vláďa mohl oslavit svůj první titul v české nejvyšší soutěži. Titul znamenal kvalifikaci v Lize mistrů. Ve druhém předkole se utkala Viktorka proti Željezničaru Sarajevo a po celkové výhře 6:4 postoupila do třetího předkola, kde čekal plzeňskou Viktorii estonský Nõmme Kalju. Viktorka v tomto předkola byla favoritem a roli favorita také zvládla, když celkově vyhrála 10:2. V té době se začali objevovat spekulace, že o Vláďu velmi stojí německý SC Freiburg, ovšem Vláďa nadále zůstal v Plzni. Ve čtvrtém předkole čekal Viktorku slovinský Maribor a i toto dvojutkání Viktorka zvládla (4:1) a tento postup tak znamenal účast v základní skupině Ligy mistrů. Tu si ovšem Vláďa už s Plzní nezahraje, neboť spekulace se stali skutečností a 29. srpna 2013 přestupuje Vláďa do německého SC Freiburg.
