Créé en 2003, à l’initiative de Laurent Grzybowski, journaliste à La Vie et paroissien de Saint Léon, le Groupe interreligieux-Paris 15 a été fondé par Rivon Krygier (rabbin de la communauté juive d’Adath Shalom), Bruno Lefevre-Pontalis (curé de l’église catholique de . Saint- Léon) et Mohammed Benali (responsable de la salle de prière musulmane de la rue de Javel).. . Ce groupe rassemble des chrétiens, des juifs et des musulmans du quartier qui se rencontrent régulièrement pour mieux se connaître, dans le respect de leurs différences. . Dans leurs lieux de culte respectifs (église Saint Léon, synagogue Adath Shalom, synagogue du MJLF et salle de prière musulmane de la rue de Javel), ils organisent des cycles de conférences, des temps de partage et des rencontres conviviales où chaque communauté accueille les autres, à tour de rôle, dans un esprit d’amitié et de compréhension mutuelle.. . . Un comité de pilotage - composé d’une dizaine de fidèles engagés - . propose une conférence annuelle sur un thème mêlant religion et société.
