Detailed description is Welcome to Velocity! We are determined to assist you with improving function, decreasing pain, and improving your outlook on life. Hello Hudson! My name is Brittany Young-Sanchez. I am a Doctor of Physical Therapy and mother of two precious boys! I am very excited to be opening my doors soon. I have always wanted my own business since I can remember. I was greatly inspired by my father throughout my life and perpetually given faith in myself by my mother (and vice versa). I grew up in a small farming community in Western Wisconsin and have expanded my horizons to some amazing cities where I have studied and practiced the art of Physical Therapy. My passion to help people was inspired by my Mother who was a nurse. I also loved sports and people, like my father. The combination thereof has landed me where I am today. I studied for 7 long and blessed years in both Madison, Wisconsin and La Crosse, Wisconsin. In 2009 I graduated from the University of Wisconsin, La Crosse from an incredible program with some incredible professors with my Doctor of Physical Therapy! I worked for 3 years as the lead therapist in a Rehabilitation Center in San Antonio, Texas. I then moved on to a privately owned out-patient center in San Antonio where I also led a team and oversaw an outpatient clinic for 3 more years. I was blessed to work side by side with an amazing pain doctor and progressed my skills even more. My family and I moved back to Hudson in May of 2015 with a desire to be near family and to persue my dream of having my own practice. My desire for our clinic here in Hudson is to create an environment of inspiration and healing. I want employees as well as patients to come here to focus on healing YOU and enjoy themselves in the mean time! My therapeutic theories range from homeopathic options like cupping, essential oils and dry needling to McKenzie extension theory for spinal dysfunctions. Not one patient is like another, therefore not everyone's treatment is going to look the same. I utilize modalities for pain control, trust my hands to guide the process and empower the learner to learn how to maintain their progress independently. In the near future I will be looking to add a personal trainer, massage therapist, acupuncturist, and nutritionist to our wellness center.
