Detailed description is Our team is a fun, determined group of UW-Stout students who love the water. We have members of all abilities and participate in all types of waterskiing The UW-Stout Waterski Team is a group of Stout Students who actively participate in the sports of waterskiing and wakeboarding. We participate in all events of waterskiing including slalom, trick, jump and barefoot. This club is open to Stout students of all abilities from those who have never skied before to expert tournament skiers. We compete in collegiate tournament events with other schools throughout the Midwest, although competing is not a requirement for membership. Our club practices on Lake Menomin, right here in Menomonie at members' convenience multiple times a week and have been known to ski late into the year as far as November. We own our own boat, jump, and slalom course and have equipment of all kinds for use by our members. If you are new to waterskiing or a certain type of waterskiing this is a great opportunity for you to learn! We have members who are very knowledgeable and skilled in all types of skiing who can teach you and all necessary equipment! This is a great opportunity for you to learn, improve, compete and most importantly have fun!.
