Detailed description is Time to See is a one-night-only charity exhibition for beyondblue, showcasing artwork and photography submitted by local Sydney talent and community. Hello, we are UTS students currently pursuing a bachelor of events management. As part of our final year project, we have decided that we want to host an arts exhibition on the 7th of October that will serve as an opening for Mental Health Week. Currently, the 2 biggest mental health issues in Australia is depression and anxiety, with 1 in 6 young people experiencing a depression and 1 in 4 people experiencing anxiety at some stage in their life. While both of them are different in nature, it's not uncommon for both to occur at the same time. Therefore, we hope that through this event, we hope to raise awareness about the struggles of overcoming anxiety and depression. . We are collaborating with beyondblue to aid us in this campaign, and will showcase a variety of artworks, such as paintings, art therapy and photography, that will be on sale at the event, with all proceeds going towards beyondblue.
