It is the only government institution dedicated to Chemical Technology except IIT Delhi in Delhi-NCR region.
School was established in 1999; the same year when other constituent schools of university were formed.HistoryUniversity School of Chemical Technology was established by Government of Delhi as one of 12 University Schools of Studies under the Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University.
