Detailed description is Our Objective is to bridge any and all gaps between Africans and Non-African students through cultural and educational means.
African Students Association, also known as ASA, was initially founded as a means of bringing students from various African countries together academically and socially.
ASA serves as a means of debunking negative stereotypes of Africa and Africans that have been instilled in us through the media by showcasing our rich cultural heritage.We provide a safe and friendly environment where Non-African students can come and enrich their knowledge of Africa and its people.
We also act a community where Africans attending the University can come and feel like home.
Our primary objective is to bridge any and all gaps between African and non-African students through cultural and educational means.
We plan to reach the community through our public service projects, informational events and collective accomplishments such as our annual African Night.
