The team was registered with the University but inactive for 2015-2016.
Tiger Hockey was founded in 2011 by Josh Herbert, Michael McAteer & Brendan Parsons.
Parsons served as the team's President for the 2011-2012 season, McAteer for the 2012-2013 & 2013-2014 seasons, with Marc Piantedosi filling the role for 2014-2015.
Dr.
Shawn Jones served as the faculty advisor from 2011-2015 & Dr.
Kathy Tuberville took on the role as the faculty advisor for the inactive season of 2015-2016.
Eric McKimm acted as Treasurer from 2011-2015.
Josh Herbert was Head Coach along with Assistant Coach Michael Street from 2011-2015.
Aaron Gay also served as Assistant Coach for 2011-2013.
During this time, Tiger Hockey was a non-conference team in the Southeast Region of ACHA Division III and a member of the University of Memphis RSO & Club Sports Programs..

Our mission is to promote the great sport of hockey in the Mid-South, and provide a chance for young adults to continue participating in this fast and exciting sport while attending the University of Memphis.
