Detailed description is Graduate Physical Therapy students recruiting children ages 1-12 years with a diagnosis of cerebral palsy to study development of balance. The purpose of this research is to examine how sensory information from touch, vision, and balance organs in the ear are used by children with moderate-to-severe cerebral palsy when they attempt to sit upright. . . Benefits: Children are paid $25 for each session (2 sessions). Family and therapist might benefit from learning the child’s level of trunk control and from learning which level of trunk support will be best for the child.. . Eligibility: . We are recruiting children 1 through 12 years of age. They need to have a diagnosis of cerebral palsy, no uncontrolled seizures and children must require a walker or wheelchair for long distance mobility. . .
