Detailed description is This page is for faculty, staff, students, and alumni of Human Development & Family Studies in the School of Human Environmental Sciences.
HDFS is currently comprised of 8 faculty members who currently engage in research and teaching that recognizes and promotes the diversity of individuals, children and families.
Undergraduate students earn a degree in Human Environmental Sciences with a major in Human Development and Family Sciences and may choose from three concentrations: Lifespan/Family Sciences, Child Development, and Birth through Kindergarten.
There are currently 154 undergraduate majors.
In regard to graduate study, a Master of Science in Human Environmental Sciences with a concentration in Human Development and Family Sciences is offered and there are 25 graduate students (including on-line) currently enrolled.
