Detailed description is The collective page for all 15 Union Southampton Dance societies Hello and welcome to Union Southampton Dance!! . . This group has been set up on behalf of the 15 dance societies at the University of Southampton! We are proud to offer classes in African, Ballroom and Latin, Belly, Ballet, Bhangra, Break, Contemporary, Capoeira, Dabke, Irish, Jazz, Kandyan and Bharatanatyam, Salsa, Street and Tap – all FB groups and emails below. . . We put on a sell-out annual dance show each year called ‘Pure Dance’, which brings together all 15 societies. We also compete at a national level at various competitions across the country, with societies hosting their own here in Southampton. Everyone is welcome, so make sure you get involved!. . We hold many individual and combined dance socials and events throughout the year. So come and find us at the Student Groups Fair (or bunfight) to meet all of the committees, find out what we are planning this year and ask us any questions . . All the societies will be offering free taster sessions in the first weeks so you can come along and have a go whether you're a total beginner or a dance pro. . .
