It is a volunteer service corps of students who seek to instill pride in UB through giving back of their time and talent. Members of the FAN primarily serve the University as Admissions Advocates to assist in the stewardship of prospective students while also cultivating relationships with UB’s alumni-powered global network. In return for their volunteer service, members of the FAN are afforded benefits of young alumni status before they leave campus. This includes, but are not limited to, special invitations to attend UB alumni events, opportunities to network with UB Alumni, an exclusive invitation to join the Young Alumni Leadership Council upon graduation, as well as numerous other benefits.. .
