Detailed description is A peaceful double master prow-front vacation cabin nestled in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains. Nestled in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains, Twin Rivers is a very private 1100 square foot 2 bedroom 2 bathroom cabin enveloped by acres of densely wooded mountainous landscape within Ellijay's gated Coosawattee River Resort. It is constructed on a steep south-facing slope away from main roads and passing traffic and is the only property at the end of a winding gravel road. (Please note: the cabin does not have a game room or hot tub). . On the inside, you'll find a mix of rustic and luxury in the cabin's finishing and decor, evoking the feel of a western luxury lodge. Nearly every piece of furniture was constructed by local craftsmen residing in either Blue Ridge or Ellijay. You’ll find local art, wood sculptures, and original photographs placed about the cabin.. . Central to the common area is the stacked stone double-sided fireplace that soars high into the timber frame cathedral ceilings, providing warmth and ambiance to both the living room and kitchen/dining areas. Colorful and contrasting knotty pine wood covers the floors and walls, setting the tone for this true-to-heart mountain retreat.. . The kitchen/dining area features granite counter tops, dishwasher, ceramic cook top, oven, microwave, refrigerator/freezer, Keurig coffee maker, 32 inch HD television w/ Apple TV, and a solid walnut dining table that can seat up to six people with two additional seats at the bar. A small study sits adjacent to the main entrance for those looking for a comfortable place to check email, telecommute, or just browse the web using the wireless high-speed internet. Crack the window and listen to the songs of the Cardinals and Wood Thrushes and watch the deer, turkey, and other visiting wildlife while you work. . . As you enter the living room area, attention is drawn to the expansive glass covered southern wall facing out toward the towering oaks and pines. These massive trees and surrounding topography provide filtered late morning and early evening sun, helping you ease into the days and nights. Looking to relax indoors? One of the more attractive features of Twin Rivers is the double master bedrooms, which are separated by the common area. In addition to the rustic and restful decor, both bedrooms feature 300+ count cotton sheets, hypoallergenic comforters, full baths, wood blinds/blackout curtains, 4-drawer chest, night stand, walk-in closets, deck access, ceiling fans, and tall timber truss ceilings. The first master has a queen sized log bed, 40 inch wall-mounted HD TV, Apple TV, and a screened-in sitting area with a fireplace on the rear deck just outside the bedroom. The second master has a gorgeous extra long twin over queen walnut slab bunk bed. Both bedrooms are nearly identical in floor plan and size.. . The large rear deck, which stands 20 feet over the steep downward sloping terrain below, has no other access than from within the cabin. So enjoy your morning coffee inside the screened-in living area or outside in the shadows of the foliage knowing you won't be interrupted by any 'large' wildlife! Out here, you'll find a gas grill with at least one back up tank, bird feeders, and a pair of single person hammocks suspending from the overhang outside the second master bedroom.
