Created by the staff at CrossFit Avalanche, hosts of the Tahoe Throw Down (October 2010), Tahoe’s Ultimate Fitness Retreat (TUFR) is a weekend getaway in North Lake Tahoe designed for those who want to pair CrossFit-inspired workouts with outdoor activities in one of the most spectacular destinations in the world. Throughout the weekend, participants will be led through fun, creative workouts in the Tahoe Basin, while also enjoying opportunities to relax and have local experiences.. TUFR weekends will include:. . • Lakeside workouts (on the beach). • Rise and shine yoga. • Stand-up paddleboarding (SUP) WODs. • Weightlifting sessions at CrossFit Avalanche. • Metcon workouts in the North Tahoe Regional Park. • Ropes course. .
