Detailed description is Trewan is a 300 year old granite cottage on the edge of Dalbeattie Forest, with immediate access to the forest and the 7 Stanes Mountain Biking Trails. Trewan is 300 years old and is converted from 2 cottages and a cow shed with a recently built upper floor comprising 4 large bedrooms, two of which the family are proud to offer as guest rooms. There is a triple ensuite room and a double/twin room.. . Walkers and cyclists will particularly enjoy the adjustamatic massage beds, a luxury for those who are exhausted after an energetic days cycling or walking in Dalbeattie Forest.. . You will have a private entrance over a footbridge from the garden to the guest room, which allows you to come and go as you please and is especially convenient for dog owners. We are also happy for you to use the large garden which enjoys stunning views over Dalbeattie and across to the quarry.. . The car park is gated and has space for 12 cars. There is a large double garage providing a secure storage for bikes and apparatus along with plenty of room for those essential repairs and upgrades. All your wet clothes and equipment can be dried over night ready for the next day and your washing can be done for you for a small charge. . . Your day will get off to a great start with a hearty cooked Scottish breakfast or a choice of a Continental menu. Also served are grapefruit, cereal, porridge, toast, yoghurt, fresh coffee, and a selection of teas. Breakfast is served at your preferred time between 7am and 9am in the large farmhouse style kitchen and is cooked traditionally on the Aga. The produce is sourced from local suppliers including an award winning butcher whose sausages are exquisite. We guarantee to fill you up for your day ahead!. .
