How to sleep .

Our Tree Tops Jungle location offers a private wilderness feeling on a large jungle land adjoining protected forest and with the camp itself surrounded by bush..
Our total lodge set up is only 3 tented jungle huts.
Accommodation is in tented rooms made on a raised, sandfilled, platform.
There is a bathroom inside the tent and a verandah in front of the room with views to surrounding jungle and mountains..
Apart from the room itself, there is a thatched mud hut restaurant with space for relaxation with furniture where guests can read a book and enjoy the views.

How to eat .
.
Meals are local, curry -style, freshly cooked and mostly vegetarian .
Fish, chicken and meat prepared on request and when good quality ingredients are available.
There are limitations but we love to be flexible.
We are happy to listen to your wishes and please let us know how your prefer meals.
Dinners are served in the mud hut restaurant.
For the fun and party, we can convert the curry style meal into a 3-4 courses dinner that is suitable for wine & dine.

Tree Tops Jungle Lodge is situated in wilderness 10 km from Buttala in a remote area where no other tourists are coming than those staying with us.

Our property is in a boundary region between the wild jungles and areas farmed in the wet season (November – March).

The lodge is in the bush jungle itself and our jungle location is situated along the protected Weliara forest which is connected to and part of the ecosystem of the Yala National Park which is 6 km south of us.

The primary service we provide is living in the nature accommodation.
We are also happy to take guests on local bird watching walks if possible.
Local walking is always depending on the situation and presence of wild animals and we will determine forest walks from day to day.

Local walking could be inside the forest on some days – but this is depending on the given situation and presence of wild elephants.Today we will walk less in the forest with our clients than we did in the past.
There is a clear tendency that a higher number of wild elephants are spending more time in our area so in this way our freedom to walk in the forest is more restricted because of our safety considerations.

While our concept, vision and intentions remain the same other changes compel us to revise our local walking routes so we increasingly will avoid walking in the forest with our guests - but we will walk more in open bush landscapes adjoining the tall forest.
