My name is Morwenna Barnicoat, I have owned and ridden horses from a young age, I have competed for pony club and more recently riding club in area teams and also enjoy hunting side saddle.. As a teenager I broke in and rode on a variety of young horses to be sold, then I studied and completed a National Diploma in Horse Management at Bicton College.Whilst at Bicton I obtained my BHS Stage 1 Care, BHS Stages 1,2 & 3 Riding and BHS Riding & Road Safety. . After college I continued to break in, ride on and sell other peoples and my own horses.. More recently I have worked for a dressage rider based in Cornwall with horses working up to and beyond Advanced Medium and competing at Advanced Medium.. In this job I've had sole charge of up to 15 horses, exercised warmblood dressage horses, handled dressage youngstock, exercised and schooled hunters, assisted with foaling, turned out horses and youngsters for competitions and futurity and backed and ridden on two warmblood 3yos, one of which is a stallion. . I'm now setting up in Devon as a freelance groom and I'm also able to offer pulling trimming, plaiting and help breaking & schooling, amongst other things.. . .
