Detailed description is Outdoor amusement food service. "A Family Tradition Since 1939" Timmons Concessions is a family owned business founded in 1939 by my grandfather J.C. Timmons. Papa found his love for children and their fascination for cotton candy as he worked for Mark & Mary Watkins through much of his adolescent years, before the idea of Timmons Concessions became a reality. He began selling cotton candy and candy apples at many local county fairs, where the slogan "Maker's Of The Old Original Candy" was born. The candy business took a giant step when his oldest son David Timmons decided that the carnival life was his destiny. From there my dad took the business of working local events to regional state fairs and festivals throughout the south east. Timmons Concessions joined many national organizations during this time, that put our business into main stream events. As a teenager, I decided that Timmons Concessions needed a third generation. In 1997, the slogan "A Family Tradition" was adopted. We have taken our business a step further with the purchase of more state of the art equipment. Our menu has expanded from cotton candy, candy apples, popcorn and sno cones to also include funnel cakes, corn dogs, nachos with cheese and lemonade as well as a variety of soft serve ice cream. Timmons Concessions has become a premier vendor at all of our events, through out Ohio and the Mid Atlantic regions as well as the south east and Florida.
