The current owner William Espe, is the grand nephew of Cecil and the Espe family has owned The Sweet Shop for over 92 years.. . The Sweet Shop makes a fine assortment of homemade candies and ice cream. Some of our most popular candies include turtles, sea salt caramels, and maple creams. All our chocolates are top quality, hand made and hand dipped in house using only the finest milk and dark chocolate. . . Tradition runs deep here at The Sweet Shop. Our candy and ice cream is made the old fashioned way, one batch at a time and using some of the same equipment, the same way it was years ago. Making quality candy takes time, patience and skill and only the finest ingredients. Our staff has over 100 years of experience! Quality has been our goal, and will continue to be.
