Before Austin became the hustle & bustle city it is today, David Ansel established The Soup Peddler out of a humble home tucked away in the funky Bouldin Creek neighborhood where he would craft unique concoctions of handmade soup from scratch. Riding around South Austin, David would deliver these soups himself to friends and neighbors on his bike, "Old Yellow". Interest for David's soups quickly grew with raid expansion, and thus, The Soup Peddler was born. . .
