Native to Texas, I transplanted to Colorado in 1997 on a whim after a conversation that took place with my best friend in an Applebee's bar. Yes; I was 21. . . Landing in Ft.Collins, I quickly made friends that were well familiarized with outdoor sports and camping, which allowed me to spend a significant amount of time in the back country hiking and backpacking in the Poudre Canyon. . . Two years later, I transferred to Denver for a job promotion with the Lauder Companies. My days of hiking and backingpacking immediately took a backseat. . . For years, I was contently focused on building my career, but still lamented for the wilderness. . . Fast forward several years, I woke up working 80 hours a week, with a limited adventure-seeking life. With cathartic purpose, I made the most important decision of my life; after a year of contemplations, Savvy was adopted and finally home with me. (more on this once we meet!) This choice was a life-changing event in many unexpected ways. . .
