Howdy ya'll! I am Sara Menges and yes (if you couldn't tell) I am from a small town in West Texas known as San Angelo.
I am so excited to share my passion of painting & door decor with you!.

A little about me first....I married my high school sweetheart at the young age of 19 and who would have thought here we are 5 years later with two very active, yet creative kiddos running around! At a young age I have always craved to create things.
I graduated from cosmetology school in 2011 and remained cutting hair until 2013 when our first bundle of joy made her entrance, Being home with her was so important to me but at the same time I still craved to create and so began my business venture....The Salvage Sisters..

The Salvage Sisters really allowed me to get my creative juices flowing.
I started with some thrift finds and painted the walls to make our house feel more sweet! This really made me appreciate my work and LOVE what I was doing.
Every cut & brush stroke is done with LOVE! Once business boomed I was able to leave the hair industry and stay home with my little girl and do what I love best...paint! From small projects to large wall murals I can do it all..

At the beginning of August of 2015 I started doing paint parties and immediately fell in love! Working with my clients and their friends has been an absolute blast and large part of the Salvage Sisters!
