A 501(c)3 public charity For all who do not know the story of Pumpkin - Pumpkin is the little orange kitten in our profile picture. He was rescued at 4 weeks old from a sad situation. Pumpkin has hydrocephalus (water on the brain). It is a congenital defect. Pumpkin became extremely ill in April of 2010 and was not expected to survive. Against all odds our little miracle baby is still here with us and doing great! The hardest part of Pumpklin's illness however was not the expense involved - it was the people we met who had no choice but to choose euthanasia for their beloved pet because the cost of treatment was beyond their abilities. The Pumpkin Fund was formed in Pumpkin's honor with the hope that we can someday spare others from facing that same difficult decision.
