Detailed description is TLS helps donkeys in need and provides education about the mental and physical needs of donkeys, their nature, training and care. We started rescuing, rehabilitating, and rehoming abused, abandoned, and neglected donkeys as private people in July 2011 following a call by various friends on Facebook. We incorporated as a NM non-profit organization in September 2012 and registered as a charity with the NM Attorney General on July 25, 2013. Since July 19, 2011 we have helped more than 150 donkeys from NM, TX and AZ find a good home or a safe place to stay, and we have helped numerous donkey owners take better care of their animals. Donkeys going through our program have found permanent homes in the states of New Mexico, Colorado, Nevada, Texas, Arkansas, Arizona, Virginia and Maryland.
