Detailed description is The Light of Dawn is a dedicated social service group founded in 2013 to honor the memory of Dawn Angelopoulos. We are a non-profit organization intended Dawn Angelopoulos was a graduate of Lynn English High School and Salem State College. She was a wonderful friend, wife and mother who cared deeply for her community.. . In 2012, we lost Dawn following a difficult battle with breast cancer. Dawn’s memory lives on within her family and friends. To honor Dawn, preserve her memory and allow her to continue to help others, The Dawn Angelopoulos Memorial Scholarship was started in 2013.. . This scholarship will be awarded to a graduating Lynn English High School senior who is accepted for enrollment at Salem State University. The successful candidate will be someone who, like Dawn, worked hard at Lynn English and chose Salem State as a means of expanding horizons and helping the community.. . The scholarship is a $2,000 non-renewable award presented by the Dawn Angelopoulos Memorial Scholarship Committee after review of completed applications submitted by interested students.. .
