One day long ago (not that long ago - circa 2012) Matt New left everything behind to pursue his dream of living in the jungle. Not knowing how he would actually make this happen but being determined to do so, he packed in his job and joined the volunteering program at Finca Bellavista - a treehouse community in the rain forest of Costa Rica. . . After the volunteer program was up, he sustained himself via a small online business which he ran from one of the treehouses within the community. This eventually led to a show on 'HGTV' called House Hunters International. The owner of the home was so excited to see his house on the telly that he waived the rental fee!. . Late 2013, Matt joined the Finca Bellavista management team and officially became the 'Property Manager'. This was the start of something amazing and opened the doors to reach his dream.. . It wasn't until mid 2014 that the dream really came alive however - this was the moment he met Amy and things really started to take off. Together they moved into a small cabin, no bigger than a bathroom except this one had no running water, no power and no toilet! They absolutely loved it.... . Amys part to come . .
